Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining organized stock areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Ensure accurate and safe handling of goods, including fragile and high-value items
• Assist in picking, packing, and palletizing stock for dispatch
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Conduct daily pre-operation checks and report any equipment issues immediately
• Follow all company health and safety protocols and procedures
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily targets
• Complete documentation and inventory control tasks as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift
• Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance)
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime if needed
