Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: St. John's, NL
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Rate of Pay: $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls and directing inquiries efficiently
• Performing bank reconciliations with accuracy
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
• Handling monthly accounts receivable and payable tasks, including journal entries and general ledger postings
• Preparing monthly reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
• Managing internal controls for vendor and customer accounts, including invoice processing, payments, and collections
• Contributing to various other accounting-related tasks as needed

• Proficiency in Excel and Word; Jonas Construction Accounting experience is a plus

• Completion of a Business Administration Program with a focus on accounting
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
