Job Title: Office Furniture Installer - Full time

Pay: $19/hr

Hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday (Full-time)

Location: Ottawa, ON (Nepean area)

We're hiring Office Furniture Installers on behalf of a client of ours that has been in operation for 40 years! The role of the Installer is to work independently and as part of a team. You will be working with a small group of coworkers installing various furniture in either private or public sector buildings. The ideal candidate will currently hold a Reliability/Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and offloading product at the warehouse or on site
• Staging products on site and maintaining a clean workspace
• Reading drawings and floor plans and installing product accordingly
• Communicating to Site Lead of any damaged product, or issues
• Keeping track and maintaining tools that are provided and replacing any missing tools

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6 Months - 1 year of previous experience
• Must be physically able to lift product
• Experience with reading floor plans and blueprints is an asset
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Experience with basic hand tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
