JOB SUMMARY :

The incumbent uses their expertise to leverage and enhance HR data for strategic and operational purposes, including optimizing the recruitment, integration and retention process. They are responsible for extracting, processing, analyzing and structuring data, to optimize HR processes, ensure the reliability of information and support decision-making.

They design and automate interconnected workflows, develop dynamic and interactive scorecards, and contribute to the implementation of robust and efficient data pipelines.

The incumbent plays a key role in the continuous improvement of HR data governance, the automation of internal reporting and the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs), to track trends, support predictive analytics and address strategic HR management issues.

This is a new position with responsibilities that will evolve over time based on the needs of the Human Resources Department and the Network.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Undergraduate degree in statistics, business computing, business intelligence, data science, information technology or another related discipline
  • Minimum of five years' experience in data validation, analysis, interpretation and visualization in a similar role, with particular emphasis on creating and managing analytical models and structuring data flows
  • Practical experience in data modeling, including analytical model design, data process optimization and data warehouse management
  • Experience in human resources, particularly in HR analytics, HRIS or HR indicator management considered a major asset
  • A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Query for data processing and transformation
  • Mastery of Power BI and Tableau visualization tools, including the creation, modification and deployment of interactive scorecards
  • Good knowledge of SQL language and relational databases, in particular SQL Server (MS SQL)
  • Good knowledge of Power Automate (workflow automation) and Power Apps (code-free application creation)
  • Proficiency in Python programming, particularly for automation, data cleaning and analytical scripts
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
  • Understanding of data extraction, transformation and loading processes (ETL/ELT)
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills
  • Initiative and creativity in developing solutions
  • Attention to detail and rigour in the quality of work delivered
  • Good tolerance of ambiguity and complexity
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent and unexpected changes
  • Ability to translate organizational needs into concrete, effective technical solutions
  • Proven ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and adapt the level of information to the audience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
