OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking talented and experienced Business Analysts to join our Mariner Innovations team for client-based projects. In collaboration with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, technical experts, and/or vendors, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers.
These opportunities are open to full-time salaried employees, contract employees, and Independent Contractors.
WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Work collaboratively to develop and maintain summary plans
- Conduct research on best practices and play a key role in identifying potential risks
- Attend meetings and document meeting notes
- Provide end user support, including end user training and creating user/system documentation
- Support IT applications through workflow documentation, configuration updates, and testing (unit and integration)
- Work independently or collaboratively to help the team meet project deadlines and stay within budget
- Contribute to achieving internal KPIs
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures while completing system procedures, testing, and preparing files
- Share regular updates during project phases to maintain transparency and support timely task completion
- Collaborate with Clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure the business and information technology requirements align
- Build strong working relationships throughout engagements and subsequent follow-up sessions
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- Post-secondary education in either Clinical, Health Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Attention to detail and ability to follow direction
- Ability to function well both independently and within a team environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills and meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in clinical application systems and experience in a complex health care organizational environment is considered an asset
