We're seeking a Training Specialist to join our dynamic team and support the continued growth of NB Health Link, a program delivering highly coordinated, timely, and accessible primary health care.
As a key member of our team, the Training Specialist will identify staff learning needs, develop and deliver customized training solutions, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a consistent and structured onboarding experience, while also promoting continuous professional development through a combination of in-person and online learning opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct project-specific learning needs assessments;
- Oversee the design and develop of the curriculum for learning programs while identifying optimal delivery methods;
- Provide consultation and oversight to the development and implementation of learning initiatives by teams of subject-matter experts;
- Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of both online and in-person training materials, incorporating evolving best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs tailored to various disciplines.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to trainees to support their professional development.
- Facilitate working groups on curriculum design and delivery;
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance and completion tracking.
- Stay informed about operational changes to ensure training content remains current and aligned with organizational needs.
- Design and perform post-impact analysis for learning programs;
- Support continuous quality improvement through process evaluation within a performance-based model, ensuring implemented improvements are effective.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you have:
- Post-secondary education in a health care discipline supplemented with a diploma/degree in adult education or an equivalent combination of experience and education;
- Proven experience with adult learning concepts and facilitation;
- Minimum two years of experience in a leadership role;
- Proven experience with the use of technology to deliver virtual learning;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills;
- Understanding of business process review, outcome evaluation and change management concepts and methodologies;
- Advanced computer literacy is required, including MS Office;
- Experience using Articulate suite of e-learning development products would be considered an asset.
- Ability to travel within New Brunswick is required; a valid driver's license is essential.
