Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements and maintains a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and assist in the development of comprehensive programs for generating unit overhauls, equipment upgrading and modification.
• Assists in the development of Operating and Capital Budgets to reflect the multi-year plan and implement realistic schedules which reflect the approved budget and available labour resources and ensure that these are properly controlled.
• Ensures that maintenance, repair and upgrading activities are carried out as efficiently and economically as possible and in the proper order of priority.
• Ensures that the Health and Safety Program is an integral part of the maintenance activity and perform related administrative duties, as required.

What We're Looking For:

• You are a self-starter with ability to be an interactive team member.
• You plan and control effectively and communicate well.
• You possess a good working knowledge of computers with appropriate awareness of various corporate applications as necessary, which may include, but are not limited to, the Microsoft suite of applications, JD Edwards, Showcase Strategy, computerized inventory, and maintenance programs.

What You'll Need:

• An Interprovincial Journeyperson's certificate in the Industrial Electrical field
• A minimum of five years experience as a Journeyperson, preferably in Thermal Power Plant Maintenance.
• Supervisory experience would be an asset.
