As part of the Fleet Services team, the ASR IV ensures the safety and compliance of Fleet's mandate, guaranteeing the availability and safe operation of all fleet equipment for NB employees. This includes administering asset management, procurement, and maintenance related to the NB Power fleet of vehicles.

Key functions include:

  • Collect and analyze data related to fleet of vehicles, including vehicle assets identification, maintenance costs, and capital costs by auditing data and fuel card program usage, auditing expenditures to ensure adherence to policies, and maintaining compliance with guidelines. Ensuring data integrity, preparing regular reports and performing cost analysis to suggest cost-saving opportunities.
  • Administer and manage vehicle maintenance programs and schedules ensure vehicle asset cards are available for maintenance and inspection purchases. Analyze uploads to verify data accuracy in fleet asset maintenance.
  • Oversee and maintain vehicle insurance and annual renewal programs, working as a liaison between staff and insurance companies regarding accidents and asset information. Report incidents using designated forms and gather necessary data for investigations. Analyze over 1400 vehicle assets for registration and insurance renewals. Identify non-operational vehicles and facilitate the distribution of registrations and payments.
  • Handle Third-Party Services, including processing and reconciling monthly invoices for services like taxi contracts.


Our ideal teammate will have:

  • Diploma in Business Administration
  • Two years' experience in fleet administration, including demonstrated knowledge of fleet operations and maintenance
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid Class V driver's license
  • Proficiency in fleet management software would be an asset

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
