Job Description

Working on assigned shifts, you will work providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Level C
  • Proof of Authorization to work in Canada
  • Must possess a valid Full G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years.
  • Must provide a clean drivers abstract (uncertified); No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years.
  • Have afternoon & night availability (8–12-hour shifts)
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to operate a motor vehicle safely (ie. Wear seat belt, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
  • Completion of Paladin Mobile Patrol Training Program (LMS Courses)
  • Be able to complete 4 mobile patrol e-learning courses
  • Be able to complete 2 mobile patrol training shifts
  • Previous security experience is an asset
  • Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college preferred

  • Conducting property inspections
  • Guard supervision
  • Assisting with scheduling
  • Client liaison
  • Vehicle maintenance
