Job Description

  • Determining ongoing eligibility for compensation benefits to injuredworkers by evaluating all evidence.
  • Establishing andmaintaining contact with workers' and their families, employers', healthprofessionals, union representatives, worker/employer advocates and otherinterested parties to review the claim progress and expedite a timely and safereturn to work.
  • Arranging andmaintaining professional services such as pain management intervention,financial counseling, psychological counseling, etc.
  • Assessing needs andfacilitating interventions and referrals such as HRDC (Human ResourcesDevelopment Canada), Counseling, etc.
  • Authorizingevaluation of services for vocational and functional assessments or workcapacity evaluations.
  • Ensuring quality assurance measures, key performance indicators, andservice standards are met.
What you bring to the role:
  • A bachelor's degree in a social science
  • Four (4) years of Case management experience working with clients
  • Time management skills and experience with changing deadlines andpriorities
  • Experience working with and developing vocational and rehabilitationplans
  • Investigative, analytical and evaluation skillswith the ability to probe and gather required information
