The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Treasury Co-Op Student to join our Treasury and Pension Investments team in Toronto.

This is a hybrid position, working a Monday to Friday schedule. This is a 12 month-fixed term co-op position starting in September, 2025.

As a Treasury Co-Op Student, you will assist the team in the management of the cash routines of the company.

Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Support the team in forecasting cash flows and liquidity management.
  • Help in monitoring and managing daily cash positions.
  • Assist in processing payments and receipts.
  • Support the reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on investment portfolios.
  • Conduct research on market trends and investment opportunities.
  • Support the team in executing investment transactions.
  • Assist in analyzing the company's capital structure and debt levels.
  • Support the team in evaluating financing options and strategies.
  • Help in preparing reports on corporate finance activities.
  • Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation.
  • Support the team in organizing meetings and preparing presentations.
  • Help with various ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to various aspects of treasury operations.

About You

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on Business, Economics and Finance

Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
