In this role, you will:
- Actively support the volunteer screening process.
- Provide information to candidates about volunteer profiles within CRC.
- Conduct phone and virtual screening interviews.
- Match candidates with suitable types of volunteer work based on their profile.
- Update volunteer records in our databases.
- Maintain recruitment tools as needed.
- Communicate regularly with candidates regarding their application status.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department.
- Be available to assist in local and international disaster response operations.
What we are looking for:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Labour Relations.
- Understanding of all stages of the volunteer recruitment process.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills (internal and external).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and detailed-oriented.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Flexibility, self-sufficiency and versatility.
- Dynamism and enthusiasm.
- Interpersonal skills, professionalism and discretion.
Working Conditions
- Most of the work will be performed in a remote environment.
- Non-traditional hours may be required.
- As we work with and support people (managers, colleagues, beneficiaries/customers, volunteers, donors and external partners) and communities in Canada and around the world, applicants whose first language is not English may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role in English.
