As part of the Contracts Team this position will be reporting to the Supervisor of the Contracts Department at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station the Contract Administrator will be responsible for:
(i) Performing contract administration functions throughout the contract lifecycle,
(ii) Advising team members and contract owners with respect to contract related matters, and
(iii) Tracking a portfolio of contracts to ensure timely planning of procurement and contract administration activities for the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station.

Our ideal teammate will have:
• University degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in contract design, contract management, procurement, contract administration for large scale projects and experience with the following:
• commercial contract negotiation and dispute resolution
• engineer, procure, construct (EPC) contracts
• in preparing briefing notes and analyzing data to provide reporting for management and key stakeholders
•Comprehensive knowledge of New Brunswick Acts and regulations relating to procurement of goods and services and knowledge of standard procurement methods and tools would be considered an asset
•Document creation and editing experience using MS Office Products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel and working knowledge of SharePoint

Key Attributes for this role include:
• Ability to identify risk and develop mitigation strategies
• Strong logistics and organizational skills and proven attention to detail

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

Due to security requirements at Canadian Nuclear facilities, the successful candidate will require a Site Access Security Clearance which includes verification of background information, references, a Criminal Record Name Check and a Canadian Security Intelligence Service security recommendation.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
