Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 / an hour

Position Overview

Reporting to the Main Supervisor, the Assistant/Secondary Supervisor supports the daily operations and coordination of field staff within the Security Department. The role assists in planning, assigning, and monitoring work while ensuring safety standards and service levels are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supervisor in scheduling, assigning tasks, and coordinating resources for daily operations.
  • Provide on-site supervision and support to crew members; serve as acting Supervisor in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • Monitor work progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards and policies.
  • Support training and onboarding of new employees.
  • Respond to operational issues, including emergencies, and coordinate appropriate responses.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, contractors, and the public.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial operations setting
  • Experience in a supervisory or lead-hand role is considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, health & safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record and x3 years experience is mandatory
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using technology for reporting and communication (e.g., Microsoft Office, asset management systems)
