Position Overview:

As part of the highly collaborative content strategy team, the Marketing Production Specialist is responsible for day-to-day program management of content and digital production across paid media for The Home Depot Canada. This individual collaborates closely with creative agencies to initiate the development of content that engages our customers and supports key business and marketing objectives. The successful candidate is a creative, organized and results-driven individual who can easily pivot between competing priorities and always hits a deadline.

As a member of the Marketing team, this candidate will report directly into the Lead, Digital Production.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Manage the complete end-to-end development of creative campaigns on paid media channels, including creative brief, production and launch.
  • Oversee proofing process to ensure all content updates are captured, executed, and aligned across channels, juggling multiple proofs weekly.
  • Manage workflow between the creative agencies, marketing & planning, sharing content (photography, product SKUs, copy etc.), negotiating trade-offs and problem solving along the way.
  • Lead the approval process for all paid media campaigns before trafficking.
  • Conduct QA for creative, link verification, demo/animations etc.
  • Maintain a "One Home Depot" mentality; understand the key drivers for effective creative across our business and the synergies that can help drive efficiencies

Creative Development

  • Collaborate with creative agencies and internal teams on ideation and development of campaigns creative (video, static & animated social and display ads, audio etc.)
  • Review creative with a thoughtful and critical eye from the customer's and business' perspective, considering the customer journey and channel best practices.
  • Attend video & photo shoots, actively participating in pre- and post-production reviews.
  • Ensure creative aligns with marketing goals and content strategy, and provide creative considerations based on insights from partners and brand guidelines.
  • Offer strategic input into paid channel creative leveraging technical capabilities of evolving social and digital media channels.
  • Engage in learning industry trends and opportunities, participate creative testing initiatives to continually improve and drive learnings.
  • Advocate for diverse and inclusive representation of all groups within content production and casting.

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience with social or digital media production as well as knowledge of channel creative best-practices
  • Strong creative communication skills, resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented.

Skills:

  • Experience in marketing, advertising, production, project management, content creation, photography, or videography.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in Adobe suite and/or other creative development tools
  • Experience working with data asset management systems (ex. Aprimo)

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Reports to Marketing Lead, Digital Production

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel for video and photo shoots.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to participate in casting, wardrobe, and post-production reviews.
  • Ability to be on-set with anticipated longer periods of standing as sometimes necessary.

Hybrid Work:

  • Location Flex

Working Conditions:

  • Office, occasional on-site at commercial shoots or in-store for filming.

Minimum Education:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Minimum Leadership Experience:

  • N/A

Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License and access to a car considered an asset.

Other Requirements/Assets:

  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
