Position Overview:

The City of Saint John is currently accepting resumes for the position of Student, General Counsel Office. The position will begin ASAP with an end date of August 29, 2025.

The successful applicant will support the Clerk's Office and the General Counsel Office with administrative and other tasks as needed. Examples of tasks include:

  • Filing
  • Some research and jurisdictional scans
  • Pre and post Council and Council Committee meetings preparation and clean up
  • Organizing files and records room

The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality of all information within the General Counsel Office.

This position is open to full-time university students who have completed a minimum of two years toward their bachelor's degree.

The successful applicant may be eligible to participate in a Flexible Time Options Program, which includes the option of working a 4 or 5-day work week, subject to business requirements.
