Accountabilities
Lead and work with the Manager, Strategic Initiatives to plan, execute, and evaluate major strategic initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Oversee strategic initiatives, part of SFP Next Gen from ideation to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives and success criteria.
- Develop comprehensive project roadmaps with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Implement best-in-class project management frameworks and monitor project performance using KPIs.
- Conduct risk assessments, contingency plans, and proactively address potential roadblocks.
- Engage with key stakeholders across departments to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Develop and implement effective change communication and socialization plans.
- Execute training initiatives and communication tactics to equip teams with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful adoption.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance project deliver.
Consistently conduct comprehensive assessments of ongoing business initiatives and operations (i.e., recuring calls, training, events, employee experience etc.) to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency gains, and strategic alignment.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Business Initiatives (and team) to understand pain points and areas of opportunities within their mandate.
- Continuously evaluate current processes, success metrics, employee experiences etc., to uncover areas for improvement and innovation.
- Utilize data-driven insights and industry best practices to enhance operational effectiveness, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and foster a culture of continuous growth and adaptability.
- Develop benchmarks and KPIs. Regularly report findings, trends and recommendations to leadership to support informed decision-making.

- Solid project and change management skills to oversee complex projects from ideation to completion, applying best-in-class project management frameworks. Ability to drive change management strategies that support strong socialization, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work cross-functionally by working closely with various departments to ensure seamless implementation of initiatives, addressing challenges and optimizing outcomes.
- Strong communication (written, verbal and listening) skills to effectively present information to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Superior prioritization and time management skills; can work well under pressure to complete and/or manage multiple projects/initiatives in an efficient and timely manner.
- Solid problem solving, conflict management, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues.
- High degree of flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and functions, including working with ambiguity.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills to ensure co-operative working relationships with team members, colleagues, and business partners.
