The Human Resources Agent is at the heart of HR operations and activities. This critical administrative role enables the HR team to carry out and successfully complete tasks related to staffing, benefits, salary changes, and other activities within the Human Resources department. In addition to being organized and analytical, the Agent must have strong communication skills to interact with a wide variety of employees from different departments across the company.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate professionalism, be friendly, have strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ultimately, as a Human Resources Agent, you play a frontline role in welcoming new employees and are a key collaborator with your colleagues.
- Take initiative to improve processes and procedures with little or no direction and a high sense of independence.
- Provide document management and provide administrative support, including drafting employment contracts, preparing correspondence, maintaining employee files and coordinating meetings.
- Review and edit various HR documents and communications and keep employee manuals and HR documents up to date;
- Work closely with the Payroll Department; prepare documents and share changes to employee profiles;
- Maintain all documents/announcements on the intranet
- Support HR Partners with recruitment files
- Support the HR team with the organization of corporate events
- Prepare statistical reports and share information
- Strong communication skills in both French and English.
- Diploma of graduate studies in administration or human resources.
- 1-2 years of previous administrative experience
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
