Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team to train and coach on: new products, upcoming promotions, financing options, and selling skills.
• Provide support to sales staff during the sales process, including (not limited) to meeting each customer.
• Work with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and continuously review goals on a weekly basis.
• Develop sales plans and strategies and monitor their progress on overall volume, close ratio, average sale, and margins.
• Manage inventory of new vehicles: inventory turns, ordering of new vehicles, manage relationsip with manufacturer.
• Manage the inventory of used vehicles of the dealership: from appraising trade-in vehicles and evaluating the retail potential to determining the reconditioning needs
• Routinely meet with Managers from other Departments to discuss issues, concerns and process improvement.
• Ensure sales team follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field or a combination of education and related experience
• 5 or more years of proven sales experience in a related environment
• Previous managerial experience in a team environment
• Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
• Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must have a valid driver's licenses and clean driver's abstract
• Bilingual in English and French is a requirement
