We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact initiatives that improve the customer and employee experience, support the outcomes of the Zero30 roadmap, and advance our digital modernization efforts.

This role will lead projects that incorporate AI and data-driven technologies, modernize internal systems, and streamline business processes. The Project Manager will provide leadership across complex, cross-functional initiatives-ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and fully integrated into daily operations for long-term success.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and quality assurance strategies.
  • Engage and coordinate diverse stakeholders including internal teams, OT/IT experts, business leaders, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage RFP execution, with procurement to align solutions with project objectives.
  • Guide and influence project direction through strong business acumen, change management, and structured communication.
  • Facilitate collaboration across SJE departments to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to project sponsors and leadership, escalating issues when needed.
  • Promote and apply project management best practices, tools, and templates across the organization.
  • Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional project teams that deliver results.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in University, College, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in project management in an IT or Utility environment.
  • Expert knowledge of project plan development & management, scheduling methodology, agile and iterative methodologies, project metrics, analysis, and status reporting.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects successfully throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis & testing processes to guide requirement management and quality assurance.
  • PMI PMP Certification is considered an asset.
