Reporting to the Consultant, Real Estate, the 'Coordinator, Real Estate' is responsible for assisting with portfolio management in Ontario and Quebec. Portfolio support includes the BTS Real Estate Program as well as participation in the Environmental Program, Business Continuity Plan, and Corporate Emergency Measures.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral administrative support:
- Analyze invoices.
- Assist in facilities management and maintain property database.
- Take part in the preparation, submission and monitoring of environmental responsibility reports.
Management of leases and contracts:
- Maintain service contracts.
- Liaise with owners and suppliers.
Purchases:
- Buy equipment and supplies.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and make recommendations.
Site preparation and maintenance:
- Prepare and follow up on leasehold improvement financing requests.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance in work centres.
- Administrative experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Software (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (G2 or greater), with access to a vehicle.
- Familiarity with budget management and tracking.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
- Be comfortable with 10-20 hour week schedules.
- Fully bilingual in English and French (verbal and written).
