The Director, Insights, Analytics and Risk Transformation is a key contributor to the broader Global Risk Management Transformation Program. This dynamic role involves creating efficiencies by streamlining our risk processes and transforming our adjudication efforts using data insights and analytics. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader, with experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships and a strong business acumen.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Develop an expert understanding of current state processes and analytics offerings
  • Document and share best practices and emerging trends for credit risk management and analytics
  • Define and communicate a clear vision on the use of data and analytics for the purpose of credit risk transformation
  • Create a roadmap focused on data driven decision making, improved risk management and process efficiencies
  • Document and maintain key artifacts to support the credit risk transformation roadmap
    • Data Driven Decision Making: data required to make more informed and effective decisions
    • Improved Risk Management: data that supports the proactive identification of key risks
    • Process Efficiencies: data that informs the operating model including process automation opportunities
  • Collaborate with technology partners to recommend optimal and sustainable technology solutions
  • Lead the implementation of the roadmap, including championing strong project governance and overseeing change management activities
  • Create an environment of transparency and establish accountability with stakeholders to ensure cross functional alignment on priorities
  • Foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Banking, Credit, Technology and other domains
  • Provide direction and coaching to a team of Senior Managers that support business requirements gathering, documentation and business acceptance testing
  • Establish and manage an operating model that allows for enhancements to the vision and framework to remain current with emerging trends
  • Ensure alignment with broader Global Risk Management Transformation Program
  • Other related duties as assigned

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on the Business Banking end-to-end customer lifecycle
  • Strategic and innovative thinker; able to influence across business, risk and technical domains
  • Superlative communication skills; able to inspire a vision of change leveraging data insights
  • Strong business acumen; able to translate analytics into business insights
  • Proactive, results driven mindset; able to drive desired outcomes
  • Adaptable; comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Project experience will be an asset
