We are seeking a dynamic Staff or Senior Consultant to join our vibrant Calgary team! In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a tight-knit group of professionals on a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, most notably the energy and industrials sector, as well as aviation, healthcare, government and public services, among others. You will use your consulting expertise to help tackle some of our clients' most strategic challenges through rigorous problem-solving and insightful analysis.
As a Staff or Senior Consultant in Calgary, your role will encompass key competencies such as enterprise strategy development, market research, target operating model design, industry trends analysis, current-state assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
Your key responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and provide valuable insights that inform decision-making and propel transformative business initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current organizational structures, processes, and technologies to uncover opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Facilitate engaging workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather insights, validate findings, and co-create tailored solutions that align with client needs.
- Develop detailed project deliverables, including strategic roadmaps, operating models, and implementation plans that expertly guide clients through their transformation journeys.
- Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to execute project tasks, ensuring that high-quality deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to the creation of proposals and statements of work that showcase our value.
- Engage in firm-wide activities, such as recruitment, thought leadership, and continuous improvement activities.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is considered an asset.
- For the Staff Consultant role, a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related field is required. For the Senior Consultant role, a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in business or management consulting is essential, showcasing a proven track record in business transformation, strategy development, or a related area, including at least two years in a client-facing role.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear and actionable manner.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team while welcoming direction and constructive feedback.
- Must be located in Calgary, Alberta, to contribute to our local team and client engagements.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience in the energy and industrials sector, complemented by a strong understanding of industry norms and emerging trends.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic insights.
