Electrical Engineer or Automation Engineer
Urban Machinery Corporation is a world leader in tool machines and automation for the vinyl window industry.

Our engineering team is currently seeking an electrical engineer in the engineering department.
The successful candidate will be involved with the design and development of automation control systems, motion control, PLC programming, PC programming, Pneumatic systems, M-CAD, E-CAD, generating and maintaining bills of materials, creating service and operation manuals and supporting the manufacturing sales and service departments.

Preferred Experience and Interests:
• IEC 61131 programming languages (structured text, ladder diagram)
• Motion control systems
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems
• C++, Visual Studio .NET C#, Visual Basic.Net
• Robotics
• Real-time operating systems and programming in real-time environments
• PC and PLC hardware applications, mechanical and electrical systems, and physics
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer-service ethics
• Desire to work in an international team environment
• Creativity and ability to make decisions
• Project management

Qualification:
• Previous work experience in design, manufacturing, or application of industrial automation equipment. Including motion control, personal computers, and various computer operating systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic or equivalent industry training/experience required.
• Registered or eligible for immediate registration with APEGNB
• PLC Programming Structure Text (IEC 61131-3)
• PC programming experience with MS Visual Studio.net.
• Proficient with E-CAD, 3-D CAD and MS Office.
• Generating and maintaining bills of materials, creating service and operation manuals, and supporting the manufacturing departments.
• Hands-on, practical knowledge, and electrical circuit troubleshooting skills.
• Strong work ethic, good communication skills, a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment and require a minimum of supervision.
