Job Description:

Overview:

CUSTOMER

  • Provide a range of data analysis and assess business information management related data requirements for specific data platforms, applications systems, servers aligned to business needs
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within relevant platform / applications, including through the means of data profiling and data quality (e.g., rules / thresholds / assessments, etc.) reporting tools and via the capture of business metadata
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to elicit information / data requirements and articulate requirements
  • Contribute to data deliverables including contribution to the overall project business requirements and data requirements documents
  • Provide support to resolve data and application issues
  • Support the user community by helping users interpret the data
  • Partner with internal team and business partners to resolve issues and ensure requirements and established SLAs
  • Champion a process improvement philosophy and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Lifecycle management and Inventory control accuracy of the POS products including reporting
  • Cost efficiency, vendor accountability and adherence to contractual responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless execution of customer impacting operations, specifically the delivering of product to in-field technicians, vendor distribution centres and repaired device performance
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships internally & externally to support the achievement of business objectives
  • Ensure that business operations adhere to guidelines established by internal risk/compliance advisors and external regulators
  • Regularly evaluate product and vendor performance and make recommendations for re-orders, consolidations and return-to-vendors
  • Partner with suppliers on inventory planning, inventory flow strategies, vendor requirements and capabilities and contingency planning
  • Ensure necessary due diligence is taken to support the accuracy of all Inventory reporting, investigations and analysis
  • Ensure equipment availability, facilitate the recovery of defective equipment from the field vendors and/or merchants as required to meet predefined targets, work with repair vendors to ensure turnaround of returned equipment to available status and maintain integrity of inventory base; and work with team members on coaching opportunities.
  • Monthly reviews/audit of the vendor billing

To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools and the Power Platform
  • Proficient in MS Access and Macros
  • Proficient in Excel Power Pivot and Power Query
  • SQL Knowledge, Dashboard Creation
  • Warehouse, Inventory Management, Call Centre Knowledge
  • Proficient in Power BI and Tableau
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Professional Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Professional Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong ability to create and manage databases by leveraging various tools and systems.

Main accountable tasks and responsibilities

  • Accountable for Inventory Audits with the ability to understand complex processes.
  • Vendor Communications, time management, Audit planning and reconciliation
  • Inventory/Warehouse/Call Centre Reporting
  • Inventory systems clean-up and loss inventory preventative measures.
  • Supporting Ad-hoc reporting requests to business departments
  • Process and compliance understanding with data evaluation.
  • Business evaluation, KPI's, Dashboards, and gap analysis with recommended improvements
  • Understanding of life cycle device management in a distribution management setting.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate and/or
  • 2+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
