Martin Marietta Materials Canada Limited is currently accepting applications for the following positions at the Plant located in Aulds Cove, Nova Scotia:

Labourers

The quarry operation located adjacent to the Strait of Canso is a supplier of crushed granite locally and throughout the Eastern Seaboard, the Gulf Coast States, and the Caribbean.

This is a unionized environment, offering excellent benefits and working conditions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe work environment, Operation, Installation, Maintenance, Repair
• Type of Equipment: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Atlas-Copco, Ingersoll-Rand

Experience - Knowledge & Skills:

• Preference will be given to those with proven experience in mining and/or construction equipment
• Familiar with OH&S Regulations
• Self-starter can work with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of crushing and screening operation
• Must have minimum Grade 12 education
• Must have valid driver's license
