Job SummaryReporting to the Division Manager responsible for the Community Support Program, this position will provide advanced clerical/secretarial support to the Division Manager and staff. Responsibilities include general office duties such as preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, taking, and transcribing minutes, filing, office organization and ordering of supplies. Prepares a variety of confidential letters, reports, and documents. Payroll entry, record keeping, data collection, database management, policy manual maintenance, referral monitoring and entry and receptionist duties which include answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate staff member, receiving complaints, receiving, sorting, and distributing mail are all key functions of the position. This position is also responsible for scheduling and registering clinic appointments and organizing client travel.

Regularly to constantly uses bilateral, repetitive fine finger/precision work (i.e., typing/mousing) on the computer (seated at a workstation).
Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration program OR completion of a one-year Office Administration program from an approved/recognized college supplemented by two years' experience within the last four in a progressively responsible clerical role is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
A valid Newfoundland and Labrador Class 5 Driver's License and the use of a private vehicle are conditions of employment.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
*Proof of a current office administration program is required. To be considered current, they must have been completed within the last five years, unless it has been used in recent positions. This must be demonstrated on the application form.
