Reporting to: Nursing Services Manager - Shoreham Village

Qualifications:

• Must have a clean criminal police check.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Position Summary:

• Focus on assisting resident visitations
• Screening of family/visitors
• Facilitates participation in Recreation Therapy Programs
• Supporting Food Services
• Responsible for providing assistance to units with daily routines and to residents/clients with activities of daily living.
• Performs light housekeeping duties (e.g. tidy room, clean closets, hang clothing)
• Engages in Conversation
• Accompanies Resident when walking
• Sets up Resident to wash hands and face
• Accompanies Resident to bathroom and monitor for safety
• Assists Resident to dining room; puts on clothing protector; cuts up food (with direction from care staff)
• Performs other related duties as required.

Effective: June 23rd 2025 - 8 Week Summer Term

Hours of work: Minimum 35 hours biweekly
