Accounts Receivable Clerk
Moosehead Breweries is the last major brewery in Canada still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been led by the Oland family since 1867.
We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk at our Saint John Brewery. The qualified candidate should be familiar with A/R processes, collection activities and have intermediate Excel skills.
- You will action collection communications for all due/overdue invoices and work collaboratively for resolution
- Posting payments by recording cash, cheques, and credit card transactions
- You will ensure proper input and application of credits
- You are proactive in initiating collections activities
- You will investigate and respond to internal and external customer account inquiries
- You will be responsible for minimizing bad debt exposure
- Generate monthly A/R KPI reporting
- Ensure timely completion of all month-end close processing and reporting
- You will be required to perform other duties as assigned
- Ideally, you have a college diploma in business administration and a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an office environment, preferably in an accounting support role.
- You have proven intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- You are detail oriented and have a strong analytical aptitude
- Your organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines is impeccable
- You have great interpersonal skills
- Your verbal and written communication skills are strong
- You have a continuous improvement mindset
- Customer service is important to you
