We are currently looking for a SharePoint Business Analyst to join our Modern Workplace team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Digital Services Support Lead, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our Modern Workplace technologies with a primary focus on SharePoint Administration and the Microsoft Power Platform. The role will also include support for other related operational services such as OneDrive and Microsoft Teams. You will work closely with IT teams, internal stakeholders, and our trusted partners to identify and deliver new features and services to further advance our corporate collaboration capabilities and technology adoption.
Key elements of this role include:
Resolving incidents and fulfilling requests. Proficiency in utilizing ITIL best practices for request, incident, problem, change enablement and knowledge management processes is expected.
Administer SharePoint environments including SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016, and SharePoint Subscription Edition.
Manage and support other M365 services such as OneDrive, Teams, and the Power Platform. Develop and maintain PowerApps and Power Automate workflows.
Maintain system security and stability, addressing any issues related to performance, availability and capacity.
Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint policies, procedures, and user guides.
Provide training to end-users and including one on one coaching to power users as needed.
Ensure cyber security by managing vulnerabilities within the SharePoint environment.
Actively participate in projects, contributing expertise and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals and deliverables.
Rotational after-hours on-call support. NS Power Emergency Management and Storm Response technology support as needed.

To thrive in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and skills listed below:
A university degree or college diploma in a computer-related discipline, along with three or more years of experience in a similar role.
Proven experience with SharePoint administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, infrastructure, and topology.
Experience with PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration.
Competence in PowerApps and Power Automate workflow development.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Microsoft 365.
Experience in a similar role within a large organization.
Experience with managing other M365 services such as OneDrive, Teams, and Power Platform, Planner, Project Online, To Do and Copilot.
