Position Title: Recruiter
Assignment: RRSS Main Office
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
As a Recruiter at RRSS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by leading our full-cycle external recruitment efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent to meet the evolving needs of the organization. In addition to managing the recruitment process from start to finish, you will build and nurture relationships within the local talent pool, effectively representing RRSS as an employer of choice, and proactively creating a pipeline for future hires. This position will have a heavy emphasis on Recruitment but will also support ongoing HR projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Supervisors to identify staffing needs.
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
- Source potential candidates through various channels (e.g. job boards, social media, class visits) and develop a sustainable candidate pipeline.
- Assign new hires to work locations, pairing organizational need and applicant skillset.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining clear and timely communication with candidates throughout all stages of the hiring process.
- Forecast organizational hiring needs and track hiring trends.
- Lead RRSS's branding initiatives and develop long-term recruitment strategies.
- Represent RRSS through establishing and building a network, attending career fairs and conferences, and identifying new opportunities to further promote RRSS.
- Manage recruitment data and associated reporting, including vacancy and ad hoc reports as required.
- Support HR projects as needed, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.

- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and attention to detail while working in a fast paced, high volume, environment
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree, certificate or diploma (involving a minimum of two years of post-secondary study) with a focus in Human Resources Management or related area from a recognized and accredited educational institution is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years Human Resource Generalist experience or Recruitment Specialist experience.
- Preference will be given to those candidates who possess experience managing full life-cycle recruitment, including providing strategic advice on recruitment policies and best practices, with a preference for candidates who have extensive experience in high-volume recruitment within complex and/or unionized environments.
- CPHR or RPR designation would be considered an asset.
