WorkSafeNB is looking to build an inventory of qualified candidates for permanent and casual full-time Support Clerk II positions in our Benefit Payment Services department. Permanent and casual full-time employees will work 35 hours per week. As a Support Clerk II in Benefit Payment Services, your hours of work will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

You will report to the designated Team Leader and be responsible for handling tasks related to providing wage replacement benefits to our clients. These roles are dynamic and complex, making them ideal for detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals who excel at performing mathematical calculations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to fast-paced and changing business environments, capable of managing a high volume of work while ensuring accuracy. If you possess the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply:

• One-year post-secondary diploma/certificate, as a minimal educational requirement.

• One year of relevant work experience such as experience with benefits & wage calculations, paying accounts (accounts receivable/accounts payable) or mathematical calculations.

• Strong ability to function within MS Office software, particularly MS Word and Excel.

• An equivalent combination of greater education, combined with less work experience may be considered (e.g., a completed university degree with no work experience).

We are looking for multiple linguistic requirements such as written and spoken competence in English and French, as well as written and spoken competence in English. We ask that you please indicate, in your application, your current linguistic profile.

Hourly rate: $24.57 to $29.05, as per the current collective agreement - Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 1866. New employees will receive Step 1 at $24.57/hour of the pay band for the position appointment.

Benefits will vary depending on the type of position being considered (permanent or casual full-time)

Your primary workspace will be from your in-home office, with the occasional expectation of in person meetings, for that reason, working from outside the province of New Brunswick, or country, is not permissible.
