Project Coordinator / Materials Lead
Are you an experienced Project Coordinator / Materials Lead looking to progress your career? We're looking for a Project Coordinator / Materials Lead to join our growing team. We are open to filling this position in our Grand Falls, New Brunswick office.

You're an ideal candidate if you have:
- Experience with field and lab testing of construction materials including asphalt, concrete and aggregates.
- Familiarity with materials testing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
A typical day on the job might look like:
- Supporting the team with scheduling, tracking, and reporting of materials testing projects.
- Overseeing and coordinating daily operations of the Grand Falls Laboratory.
- Reviewing field staff reporting and distributing to clients.
- Keeping track of project timelines, support requests, and resource allocation.
- Monitoring project and portfolio performance indicators and coordinating invoicing.
- Ensuring, with the assistance of the Branch Manager, that all work carried out in the laboratory is done so in a manner that is safe for all GEMTEC employees and any visitors to our laboratory.
- Working with management to ensure that the equipment and training required to effectively carryout laboratory work is present.
- Participating in the definition and implementation of various processes within a growing division.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all work performed and meeting critical deadlines.
- Collaborating with GEMTEC personnel across Canada.
- Adhering to all company policies.
- Performing other duties as required.

Your background and what you bring:
- Post-secondary education in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in the engineering or construction sector.
- Proficiency in project management tools including MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license
