SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spoken French and English essential and written French or English

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Payroll and Kronos Manager, the incumbent will act as a subject matter expert on the staffing and timecard management tool (currently Kronos Workforce Central- WESP, WTK and self-service).

The incumbent will:

  • interact with all managers, directors and users of the application to assist them and meet their specific needs;
  • carry out promotion and continuing education to ensure proper use of the system while liaising with all users, human resources, staffing, payroll, the department coordinator and IT;
  • participate in developing and implementing best practices, software upgrades and migration to new applications, as well as implement and maintain uniform processes across the Network;
  • ensure proper configuration to avoid any impact on the integrity of data in reports, work schedules and timecards, as well as on pay for employees.

The duties of the position may involve occasional travel within the Network's territory to support employees and managers. The incumbent may be assigned various duties based on the operational needs of financial services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in administration or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years' practical experience in staffing and timecard preparation
  • Minimum of one year of experience in analyzing and solving problems with advanced use of computer software
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to speak and explain using simple language
  • Ability to prepare and deliver group training sessions
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and work within short deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft)
  • Ability to understand and navigate various software applications
  • Working knowledge of collective agreement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
