Job Title: Line Operator (Metal Surfacing)

Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour to start

Location: Burlington, Ontario - North Service Rd and Sutton Drive

We are hiring day and afternoon shift Line Operators for a company in Burlington that specializes in hardcoat anodizing of various metal parts, including auto parts. This is a long-term opportunity with a fast-paced facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment lifting 50+lbs often.

We are looking for candidates who have reliable transportation as the facility is not transit accessible after 7pm.

Job Description:

· Follow work order to correctly run parameters to reach desired finish of coating

· Monitor all coating and finishing tanks to ensure proper solution levels

· Ensure all rinse tanks are clean and overflowing

· Load and unload fixture/wash baskets

· Ensure any water on the floor area of the line is promptly removed

· Fill out work orders and follow set procedure to process orders

· Organize production so as to keep production line in operation to maximize number of runs

· Monitor equipment and troubleshoot in the event of a malfunction

· Knowledge and application of company product quality standards through the completion of quality assurance inspections

· Accurate recording and communication of product data (written and verbal)

· Lifting 50-60lbs consistently throughout your shift

· Other labour tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

· 2-3 years of long-term experience in a similar manufacturing or line operating role

· Comfortable lifting 50-60lbs repetitively

· CSA Safety Shoes Required

· Candidate must have own vehicle or reliable transportation as this facility is not transit accessible after 7pm
