Here's where you'll be focusing:

Learning Program Manager (Retail Operations)
Lead the L&D Workstream on 2 strategic enterprise projects that impact Retail:

  • Take accountability for the end-to-end planning, management and oversight of the learning workstream of the projects
  • Manage key project and business stakeholders to ensure expectations for learning on the project are surpassed
  • Design relevant learning paths and mobilize the necessary resources to deliver required content
  • Define the approach and lead the execution of an adoption plan for a new learning tool
  • Ensure learning solutions are aligned with the desired Sobeys culture, practices, standards and learning experience guidelines
  • Provide direction, support and oversight to the learning team resources assigned to the project
  • Secure learning vendors and manage the relationship with and performance of external resources to provide quality and timely work
  • Partner with Change Management, Project Management, and L&D Shared Services to create an integrated approach to the learning work stream and resource plan

Retail Operations L&D / Enterprise L&D Learning Partner

Represent the needs of Retail stakeholders on Enterprise L&D-delivered programs that are impacting Retail stakeholders:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with L&D counterparts across the business
  • Represent the needs of Retail Operations L&D in supporting the L&D Center of Excellence in advancing the practice of learning across Sobeys
  • Consult with Enterprise L&D teams to provide Retail expertise on Enterprise programs that will impact retail
  • Work with the L&D Shared Services team to ensure that resourcing requirements for Enterprise projects delivered through the Retail Operations L&D team are appropriately staffed
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of L&D solutions and act as a point of escalation to address issues and challenges
  • Liaison and manage communications between the Retail Operations L&D and Enterprise L&D teams to ensure that both teams are appropriately informed and consulted on L&D matters that impact them

What you have to offer:

  • Undergraduate degree, with a preference for adult education, instructional design, information architecture or education
  • 5+ years experience in a consulting, learning partner, program/project management, or account management role
  • Experience managing/leading teams or project teams
  • Bilingual (The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada)
