Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the People and Culture Branch as a Workforce Officer working in New Brunswick with a flexible work location.

As a member of the Organizational Culture and HR Strategy Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible to act as a Super User for the Time & Labour, Absence and Core HR modules in Oracle Fusion, SNB's Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). Super Users provide guidance to Employees, Line Managers and the People and Culture Team to ensure efficient and accurate data and payroll processing.

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Process and monitor employee data transactions in Oracle Fusion
  • Ensure data integrity through quality assurance and validation checks
  • Support and advise system users on procedures and best practices
  • Produce and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Assist with resolving data and time-related issues in Fusion
  • Manage, assign and respond to enquiries through a Client Service Center ticket escalation system
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert within the People and Culture team
  • Support the organization in future deployment waves and enhancements
  • Assist with special projects and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or successful completion of GED, supplemented by graduation from a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of related experience
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:

  • Experience in Accounting and/or Payroll.
  • Experience using an ERP System (i.e Oracle Fusion or other)

Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirement(s) is also required:

  • Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
