Bay Side Home is a licensed long term care facility, located at 96 Bayside Drive in Barrington, which is home to Sixty-Two Residents.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:100% FTE Temporary Licensed Practical Nurse Position
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing residents with total personal care. You work collaboratively with residents, their families and the Bay Side Home team to provide "Care at its Best".
In this role, you will:
- Assist in all aspects of activity in the provision of resident care practicing within the LPN scope of practice.
- Be accountable for administering medications and providing treatments to the residents.
- Provide guidance and direction to CCA's
- Attend and participate in resident footprint (care plan) meetings.
- Document and Report any changes observed in resident's condition.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the provincial Licensed Practical Nurse regulatory body.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience providing resident-centered care and willingness to embrace a person driven culture.
- Experience in Long Term Care setting is considered an asset.
