Salary: To be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range of $53,670 - $65,730 per annum.

Acadia is in search of an Executive Assistant to the Vice-President of Student Experience, who will provide direct, top-tier administrative support to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Vice-President's role in leading student experience initiatives and programs. This pivotal role serves as the primary liaison for the Office of the Vice-President of Student Experience and assumes a crucial ambassadorial function, ensuring a welcoming environment and offering information with discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
The Executive Assistant will support the Vice-President to establish priorities, coordinate important meetings and events, engage with stakeholders, monitor budgets, and develop integrated work plans. Additionally, within the Vice-President's purview, the Executive Assistant will extend administrative support to the Executive Director of Student Services and other relevant areas as necessary. This position demands adaptability to sudden changes and a steadfast commitment to upholding professional standards.
We seek candidates with extensive experience providing executive-level administrative support, with a preference for those possessing comprehensive knowledge and experience in university administration.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; completion of other post-secondary studies with directly related experience may also be considered.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a capacity for professional and collaborative interaction to foster teamwork.
Strong judgment and analytical skills are necessary for this role.
Applicants must have the ability to accurately record minutes and proceedings.
Sensitivity to work with detailed and confidential material is required.
Demonstrated vision and initiative together with excellent management, planning, and organizational skills are required, as is the ability to prioritize work with many competing demands.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is mandatory.
