Payroll Clerk
Braya Renewable Fuels is looking for an energetic and self-motivated team member to join the Finance team at the Refinery in Come By Chance. The successful applicant will be working with the Finance department to become exposed to multiple functions of the Finance field.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, and maintain an organized list of incoming timesheets, leave of absence and new hire and termination information as well as other payroll documents
- Verify and review received payroll information as needed for discrepancies
- Process timekeeping information in Oracle on a daily basis and process payroll in ADP/WFN on a bi-weekly basis
- Assist in other payroll areas as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience with payroll data entry and processing, or equivalent experience
- Experience with using Oracle an asset but not a requirement
- Experience with using Maximo an asset but not a requirement
- Experience with using ADP/WFN an asset but not a requirement
- Good organizational skills, good communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic and self motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with the field of Accounting/Finance and principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and other system applications
