Technical Rope & Rescue Inc. (TRR) is looking for our next front desk office administrative wizard. To continue our success, we require a professional to assist with business operations and to expand our capabilities and capacity. The right person will help us reach our goals and can learn and grow with us. Someone who is willing to turn their hand to whatever needs doing. We need your abundant energy, outgoing personality, incredible organization skills, positive attitude, and strategic approach. This is a truly dynamic role involving the fundamental administration of all aspects of our operations.

Start date is as soon as the right candidate becomes available.

What daily responsibilities may include:

· Greet customers as they arrive at our facility.

· Support safety, operations, training, and administrative tasks within the company.

· Performs clerical functions such as preparing correspondence,

and maintaining an up-to-date calendar of meetings for management

· Handle internal and external correspondence distribution and document preparation.

· Manage general office administration responsibilities and office supply inventory.

· Coordinate team travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations and transportation bookings.

· Complete equipment sales transactions using our point of purchase system.

· General cleaning duties to maintain a ready state of our facility to accept guests.

· Prepare certificates for successful course participants.

· Maintain and enhance relationships with current clients.

· Develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities.

· Aid our safety advisors, instructors & rescue technicians.

· Act as the primary point of contact for inbound phone calls and direct inquiries accordingly.

· Assist with various administrative functions, visitor reception, scheduling, report writing, PowerPoint presentations, web, and social media updates.

· Manage digital learning tools and classroom setup for training courses.

· Maintain the internal competency certifications database.

· Provide administrative & customer service support for all operations.

Education & Experience:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new software.

· Skilled in formatting, creating, and developing documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Familiarity with Google Suite products, including Google Drive, Sheets, and Pages.

· Possesses a diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent field.

· In absence of post-secondary education, equivalent experience in an equal role will be considered.

· Experience collaborating with senior management and executives.

· Interest, knowledge, or background in industrial safety and/or emergency response is considered an asset.
