Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for Shipping/ Receiving Admin to join our client's rapidly growing team in Saint John, NB. Our client is an expert in custom metal fabrication, including carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy and aluminum - for markets as close as next door and around the world. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, while growing with the company.
Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Rate of Pay: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
· Communicating with the purchaser.
· Writing down incoming material information off of packing slips into a clients logging system.
· Transferring information from the paper log to the excel spreadsheet.
· Booking trucks of various sizes depending on requirements.
· Stamping and transferring information onto material test reports.
· Submitting paperwork to the front office daily.
Candidate Requirements:
· Minimum of 1- 2 year of experience.
· Understanding Outlook and Excel.
· Experience working with admin side of shipping/receiving.
· Basic knowledge of steel is an asset.
· This role requires the submission of a Criminal Record Search.
· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
