Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for the role of Recruiter on behalf of our client in St. John's.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual who is exceptionally organized, detail oriented, exceptional computer skills and seeking potential growth within their role. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a strong multi-tasking capabilities and a passion for recruiting the best qualified personnel.
Available Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Rate of Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 an hour
Responsibilities: • Recruitment: post job ads, review applicant resumes, pre-screen candidates, conduct reference checks
• Verify safety/training certificates and assess candidate competencies
• Onboarding of crew- contracts signing, orientations, facilitating training, and documentation within the recruitment and training management system
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Candidate Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suites
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• 1 to 3 years' experience as a Recruiter
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or Office Administration
