To supplement its senior management team, the municipality is seeking a dynamic and motivated person eager to fill the position of Director of Protective Services.

Under the authority of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Protective Services is given considerable latitude and independence of action in making administrative and technical decisions affecting the operations of the municipality's Fire Services, the application of all municipal bylaws and the management and coordination of the Emergency Preparedness Plan in order to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents and the visitors to the municipality.

In addition, the Director of Protective Services liaises with the RCMP Policing Services to ensure a close working relationship founded on effective communication and cooperation.
