ABO Wind Canada is seeking a full-time Hydrogen Business Development Manager - Canada. The right individual will be a key contributor to our growing team in Atlantic Canada, working together with the technical team locally and internationally, H2 Business Development Team in Germany, and ongoing communication and collaboration.

Hydrogen Business Development Manager
Your Role
· Work with closely with local and international Hydrogen Business Development and technical teams.
· You drive the business needs, scope and development of our hydrogen projects in Canada
· You are key contact for government agencies with respect to hydrogen business markets in Canada
· You are accountable for the commercial, technical, operational, and regulatory / permitting aspects of the projects
· You contribute techno-economic concepts for the projects, e.g. electrolyzer, water supply, hydrogen transport, port concepts
· You identify, establish and maintain local partnerships (e.g. hydrogen off-takers, utilities, technology partners)
· You manage the cooperation and support with the local wind development team, other internal departments and external service providers.
· Deliver proactive, innovative communication solutions for our projects
Your Profile
· Entrepreneurial and skilled negotiator and team player
· You graduated with a degree in engineering or similar
· You have work experience in the project development of large energy infrastructure projects
· You demonstrate a passion for green hydrogen and sustainable development
· You speak English – German or French are an advantage
· Ideally you are located in Halifax or considering to relocate to Halifax
· You are committed to frequent and regular local and international travel
