Industrial Painter with Fall Arrest
Halifax, NS
Advantage Personnel is urgently seeking Industrial Painters to join our client's growing team in Halifax, NS. This position requires an individual with 2 year of painting experience and Fall Arrest Certified. This role will be working outside, hours may vary depending on weather.
Available Shifts: Monday - Friday
Rate of Pay: $22 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Scraping, grinding and pressure washing
• Preparing surfaces for new paint/coatings
• Sandblasting
• Painting and applying corrosion control products
Requirements:
• 2 year of Painting experience
• Comfortable with handheld power tools, scrapers, grinders, etc.
• Comfortable working at heights, fall arrest and aerial lift certifications an asset
• Experience in fabrication/manufacturing
• Willing to travel
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
