We have an immediate opening for a full-time seasonal patroller (May to November) for our freehold property in the Plaster Rock region. Your primary responsibilities will be to patrol and monitor activities and visitors on our land to enforce established rules.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor access points, roads and land for safety and security
- Interact with the public accessing our land in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce compliance with our land use rules
- Inspect facilities and structures
- Perform general maintenance and repair of access and recreational facilities
- Other related duties, as required
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Strong English communication skills, with special skills in effective delivery of enforcement messages and de-escalation
- Comfortable working independently outdoors
- Available for weekend work
- Safety oriented
- Valid driver’s license
Skills considered an asset:
- Bilingual capability (English and French)
- Knowledge of Acadian Timber property
