Nakile is a 48-bed long term care facility that has been recognized as a healthy workplace.

We are seeking a LPN with a sincere interest in working with the elderly population to work

8-hour shifts in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Applicants must be currently registered to practice in Nova Scotia.

Qualifications include:

· Current registration with NS College of Nursing

· Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills

· Ability to work Days, Evenings and Nights (8-hour shifts)

· Experience in long-term care or similar environment is considered an asset

Duties include:

· Provide and coordinate resident care within LPN scope of practice and Nakile mission and values

· Supervise and administer medications and treatments

· Assess initial and ongoing health status of residents

· Work collaboratively with residents, co-workers, families, physician and community
