• Cultivate a mindful classroom atmosphere through the practice and teaching of mindfulness techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant field.
• Certification as a Nova Scotia Teacher (or eligibility to obtain).
• Proven experience integrating arts into educational practices.
• Proficiency in mindfulness methodologies and their application in the classroom.
• Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

Assets:

• Familiarity with universal design for learning principles.
• Background in project-based learning methodologies.
• Additional qualifications or certifications related to mindfulness and arts education.
• Interest and proficiency in arts and music, or rhythm, with a willingness to incorporate these elements into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
• Comfortable with outdoor education and enthusiastic about taking children outside to explore and engage in experiential learning activities.
