Bay Side Home is a licensed long term care facility, located at 96 Bayside Drive in Barrington, which is home to Sixty-Two Residents.

POSITION AVAILABLE:
Full Time Assistant Care Supervisor

About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Assistant Care Supervisor has a leadership role in facilitating the home's model of care. You work collaboratively with residents, their families, and the Bay Side Home team to provide "Care at its Best". Strong leadership, teambuilding and clinical skills are key aspects to this role.

In this role, you will:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, document and direct resident needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to LPN and CCA staff, providing quality resident care.
• Ensure that the Home's policies are followed including the documentation of actions, incidents, and the needs of residents.
• Assume responsibility for the home after hours and on weekends.
• Will be eligible for a full benefits package, including NSHEPP Pension Plan, LTD, Medical and Dental.

Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible for active licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Experience in Long Term Care with strong leadership and assessment skills would be considered an asset.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience providing resident-centered care and willingness to embrace a person driven culture.
